Tis e’er the curse of mortal man to drudge his course through broken land
Away he strives to cleave his name, in living stone with his own hands

Fate has dealt a sorrow grand that man forever be its slave
For on his back since time began an iron rock is what fate gave

To trouble days and peddle away to any who could buy or take
This burden, this curse, this blight of man, till all is gone for comfort’s sake

But fate, it seems, is master not, for there is One that holds its sway

“Want play outside, Daddy!”
Said the bounce at the door.
Playing inside was fun,
But he wanted to play more..

So wide swung the door,
To our home and his hopes.
He ran down the steps,
At a rather fast lope.

But too soon he stepped off
That last step of stone,
And to the ground did he fall
With a bump and a groan.

The tears began flowing
The lip it did quiver
He was sobbing so hard
His body did shiver

From my 4 year old son,

If you watch this show, you understand. If you don't... why not?

I love this show, and one night after watching an episode, I was inspired by how much Dave Hester looks like Dark Helmet and Darrell looks more and more like a Mog. The rest kinda filled itself in. :)
